Our House of Clans

A unique approach to social responsibility.

Our House of Clans is a collaborative housing development in Sechelt, BC. The funding, vision and plans for this critical housing project has been led by the shishalh Nation within the Tsain-Ko Development Corporation, alongside BC Housing and local partners committed to bringing this project to life. 

Vaka has provided:

  • Branding, Content Curation & Storytelling

  • Environmental Design & Programming

  • Wayfinding Design & Programming

  • Graphic Rendering & Digital Media Support

Slated for completion in Spring of 2022, this development will consist of 34 affordable housing units, the “Carving Tears Into Dreams of Reconciliation” totem pole and gathering plaza, a large multipurpose room with a community kitchen, four amenity areas, office space for Nation staff and community events as well as 7,500 square feet of retail space.
